Great Grape News White Castle Vineyard owners Robb and Nicola Merchant shall be at London wine fair for a second year with a fine array of their quality Welsh wines.

May 11th 2019 marks their 10th Anniversary since planting their first vines in the village of Llanvetherine Abergavenny Wales and to mark this milestone a further planting of 2000 vines has taken place earlier in May with the planting of Cabernet Franc and more Pinot Noir Précoce.

White Castle Vineyard is recognised as one of the top producers of Pinot Noir and the  new release of two vintages of the home grown triumph shall be available for tasting at this years London wine fair. 

Provinance is key to White Castle Vineyard and they pride themselves on producing quality award winning Welsh wines all with PFN status (protected food names.

Wales 1st Fortified wine 1581 is also a triumph for White Castle Vineyard and the result of four years of planning.

Their quality Welsh wines have won awards competitions from Welsh wines of the year through to the international wine challenge and have been served at many prestigious events at venues such as International wine centre of Bordeaux and the foreign office London.
