Perfect Timing At White Castle Vineyard

News has it that we will be welcoming visitors to the vineyard as from 13th July 2020 Hooray………

Our priority at White Castle Vineyard is to make your visit as safe and memorable as possible.
Preparations have been underway for sometime with COVID-19 advice and guidelines at the forefront and we are ready, so let’s open the vineyard gate once again.
Covid -19 had changed our business model and online sales have been a saviour, however visitors to the vineyard and cellar door is what we enjoy most.
So what’s been going on I hear you all ask?
Recently our renowned Siegerrebe white wine was personally requested by celebrity chef James Martin @jamesmartinchef as he appeared on ITV @thismorning.
Also arrived in the post a pre release publication of the legend Oz Clarke OBE one of the worlds leading wine experts. Oz visited us July 2019 and together we tasted our Welsh wines from varying vintages, a day we treasure having had quality time with him, he is an author of many award winning books on wine. White Castle vineyard certainly features in his latest book, be sure to purchase a copy once released in September 2020 we shall certainly have copies in stock, perfect gift ideas and those with a love of wine.

We have a date for your diary Welsh Wine Week July 27th – 2nd August 2020.
Every year Welsh and English vineyards use a week as a platform to promote their wines, generally it’s the same week at the end of May.
However this year due to Covid – 19 Welsh vineyards Wales had decided to move towards the end of July hoping that surely by then we would be able to welcome you all to our vineyards and share these celebrations. There will be opportunities to take part in virtual wine tastings and Instagram lives.
